NAMI Continues To Offer Mental Health Support During Pandemic

Mental Health can often be considered a dirty word. So many people continue to be afraid to acknowledge their struggles or talk about them with someone else. It's time to get rid of that stigma and get the help you need and deserve.

During the coronavirus pandemic millions of people have found themselves in a new reality. That reality is causing stress and anxiety that may not have been there before. There are new concerns about school for kids, financial situations, overall health, and so many more. People who never would've considered themselves to be struggling from mental health issues are now looking for answers. NAMI is here to help.

NAMI, or the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is a national organization with offices in all American cities, as well as a large presence online. They offer so many resources to those who need some help, and a lot of that assistance comes from people who have been in that same position before.

I caught up with Kerry Graves, the executive director for NAMI of Metropolitan Baltimore to discuss some of the things people may be dealing with and how NAMI can help. Take a listen and please don't hesitate to reach out to them for support.
