Has it been ten years already!?!? Time is FLYING by and I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I remember when I first saw Carrie Underwood on American Idol (looking VERY different I might add) and knowing I was witnessing something special. Her voice is unique and EXTREMELY powerful. You mix that with her amazing personality and stunning beauty and you have the perfect mold for a superstar. Being a part of the Grand Ole Opry is the absolute highest honor you can receive in country music. Sure there are ACM's and other various awards, getting to play the Opry stage is a HUGE deal in an artist's career but to have a country legend like Randy Travis personally invite you to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry? That's what matters at the end of the day. That's what solidifies your name in history. Not money. Not fame. Not hunks of gold displayed on a mantle. The Grand Ole Opry is forever and Carrie Underwood absolutely deserves to be a part of that family. Congratulations on ten amazing years!
