I don't understand. I really don't. I've watched countless videos on Fallon with these magicians and I have tried to come up with ways of how the trick is performed. Many of my theories have to do with the camera angles "Oh they move the ball of yarn off screen so it's replaced before the camera shows it again, or "they don't show Jimmy's hands and something is being switched before the close up of the hands" but all these have been debunked...I have NO CLUE how these tricks are being done and watching Dan White makes me want to fly to NYC and see his show! I'll click on a Dan White video ten times out of ten if I see it online. He's just wildly talented. Also, Jimmy Fallon's reaction is all of us watching these magic tricks.
