LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. Quick backstory to get you up to speed: Lindsay Ell's producer/friend/country star Kristian Bush told gave Lindsay a homework assignment during pre=production of her album "The Project". He said basically to cover her favorite album of all time from start to finish playing all the instruments herself, recording it all herself and gave her a timeline of just two weeks. Thank God she chose John Mayer's 'Continuum' album (one of my personal favorites as well) and the assignment began. And some time later we now have the full cover album for our listening pleasure and it is GOOD. SO GOOD. I listened to it the first time and was blown away but now to hear the backstory on how she had to play/record/produce the whole thing on her own and in just two weeks?!?! Incredible accomplishment and something you can definitely hang your hat on when all is said and done. My question to Lindsay now is...what does the actual John Mayer think of the cover album???
