Am I a bit obsessed with A Star Is Born? Yes. Did I listen to 'Shallow' at least once today? Yes. Will I be listening to Jimmie Allen's and Abby Anderson's cover of 'Shallow' on repeat when it is released in two days? You bet. If you don't know, Jimmie Allen is an ARTIST. He put out a tweet (or maybe an instagram story, I forget which) a few months back expressing his frustrations with making music videos. He wants to use his ideas, the director has his own vision, and I'm sure several other people are in the room stifling what Jimmie ultimately wants. Which sucks, but you have to pick and choose your battles. LUCKILY, this music video for 'Shallow' that Jimmie just released is his own vision, and boy is it beautiful.
