Chicago Drivers Beware: Limousine Carjackings On The Rise...

CWB Chicago –A suspect is in custody after armed men carjacked one limo driver and then tried to carjack a second limo driver in the Old Town neighborhood on Monday morning. Other suspects remain at large.
Around 5 a.m., a driver was carjacked in the 400 block of West Wisconsin by three men, including one who displayed a handgun. At about the same time, another driver told police that three men approached him as he sat in his vehicle in the 2000 block of North Cleveland. One of the men knocked on the driver’s window and displayed a handgun in a carjacking attempt that failed.
Police tracked GPS signals from the stolen Lincoln and eventually found the vehicle crashed in Jackson Park. A gun was recovered from the Lincoln’s driver’s side door panel, and the driver was taken into custody at the crash scene, police said.

Hey criminals, how about you find a more obvious vehicle to steal... what's next, fire trucks?? The Wendella tour boats, maybe? First of all, if you steal cars, especially with people inside them, you're a piece of sh*t. Plain and simple. I suppose it's better than shooting someone in the middle of the street for their wallet full of McDonald's receipts and credit cards that can be cancelled at a moments notice, those guys are bigger pieces of sh*t, but carjackers aren't too far behind.

My question is, why on Earth would you try to steal the BIGGEST LONGEST car you can find?? Were there no sedans around? No parked car you could break into? Did you learn nothing from the film 'Gone in 60 Seconds' starring Nicolas Cage?? Boosting cars is one thing, but walking up and tapping on the window to steal a LIMOUSINE?! WITH THE DRIVER INSIDE?! That's just lazy... Plus those things are owned by a limo company, you think they don't protect their possessions? How the hell do you think you're going to run from satellite GPS?? Dumb. What's gonna be next taxis??? Sure there's more of them in the city but they're still going to find you. Lazy criminal work, guys. Do better. @Traceahamilton

The only explanation as to why they decided to steal limos is to recreate the famous scene from Dumb & Dumber...
