Billy Ray Cyrus Jumped On A Hip Hip/Country Hybrid Track...Thoughts???

UPDATE: Need your feedback on this song. Good. Bad. Vulgar. Whatever the case may be, I need the feedback. The record execs down in Nashville have asked me (no clue why I was chosen for this task but here we are...) to gather a consensus on this song. Is it country? Why do Millennials love sh*tty music? How is this song number one on Billboard currently? All these questions need answers! And that's where I look to you for help. Read the blog below, listen to the song and then tell me your thoughts --> (@traceahamilton)

A little background on this. Lil Nas X wrote this song based on the popular video game "Red Dead Redemption 2" which is basically the biggest game to hit Playstation EVER. Ratings were top notch across the board and everything about it is awesome. The game is based in the late 1800's where outlaws are becoming a rare breed. The game is such an internet phenomenon that people literally watch other people play it on Youtube...crazy right? So, here comes Lil Nas X who wrote a rap song about a country video game and it TOOK OFF. Here's the thing, it took off on the Billboard COUNTRY chart. It was heading (very quickly) to #1 when Billboard said something along the lines of "Lil Nas X does not embody enough elements of country music for this song to be on this chart" and pulled it just before it hit #1. There was an uproar on Twitter and it caught the eye of country legend Billy Ray Cyrus, (ever heard of him?) He said "I love this song! Let's get it back on the country chart!" (*Not an actual quote). So he sing/raps a verse on "Old Town Road," they re-release the song as a remix and here we are. Whether you think the song is country or not, you can't deny that the song has a pretty decent beat and is catchy as f**k... They'll be playing this one in all the clubs pretty soon. As well as all those bars that have one of those TouchTunes jukebox machines. Mark my words, the younger generation will make SURE they hear Old Town Road multiple times at your favorite bar while blacking out on Long Island Iced Teas and Busch Lights using Daddy's credit card. Keep an eye out for a line dance too... - @Traceahamilton
