WGN– Mondelez Global LLC is recalling 13-ounce packages of Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies due to an “unexpected solidified ingredient,” the company said.
The announcement said there have been reports of possible adverse health effects and that the recall extends throughout the country and pertains to Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies with a “best when used by” date of September 7, 8, 14 and 15.
Well your first mistake is picking CHEWY Chips Ahoy cookies over the original. The Chewys feel like I'm biting into wet sand. Give me that "I might chip a tooth biting into this but damn it's good" OG Chips Ahoy cookie. Team blue box for life. Get out of here with that Chewy sh*t. You want to soften a cookie, throw it in milk. And that's all I have to say on that. - @Traceahamilton
PS "unexpected solidified ingredient"?! WTF does that mean?! Haven't you people used the same recipe since starting this company?!
