Granger is just having fun at this point. Under the alias "Donny Cowboy", the song follows a man who is parked out by a lake, 80 miles from Sante Fe. This felt like an SNL Digital Short (remember those?). It's something comedy writers would think up, film, and put on a Netflix sketch show. The five different musical endings had me dying and, yes, I watched him walk away from the cigarette at the end and then weirdly run ALL the way back to pick it up. Hysterical.
