HOOOOOTIE! Darius Rucker has arguably one of the most unique voices in modern music and it all started with the Blowfish. I remember getting dropped off at PRESCHOOL and my mom jamming to this song. It's stuck with me. I play it live during my own shows (very hard to do the call and response but I make it work, not to brag) and I guess things came full circle a few years back during one of BIG's Christmas shows that Darius himself played at and I was lucky enough to shake that man's hand. A mere promotions assistant at the time. That moment still sticks with me to this day. LUCKILY, my generation has the opportunity to experience seeing Hootie & the Blowfish LIVE with the BARENAKED LADIES?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING?!?! Talk about nostalgia!
