We knew this day would come but I was hoping he'd at least break the winnings record first. James Holzhauer won just under $2.5 Million in like 33 days. Not. Too. Bad. He was just $58,000 short of beating Ken Jennings' record of $2,520,700 season high record...It's a shame. Got everyone all hyped up only to watch him fall short...Also if you've followed along with the streak, you know James bets BIG on Final Jeopardy and he didn't this time...which is now making some people say that he threw the game on purpose. Which he vehemently denies.
At least James took the loss in good fun, he should considering he's walking away with over two million bucks...would've been nice to break that earnings streak though. - @Traceahamilton
