Hear Kelsea Ballerini's BRAND NEW Song From NBC's SONGLAND!

As a singer/songwriter myself, this show absolutely feeds my soul and my creative drive. I am so damn happy that there's finally a show that's not just a singing competition. Don't get me wrong, love those too but there's so much that goes into something that you hear on the radio besides the voice. You think it's the artist making you feel those things music makes you feel, that's partly true, but a lot more often it's the songwriters who don't always get the credit they deserve that are behind all those emotions. Part of the reason I fell in love with country music is because they always give credit to the minds behind the song. This week's episode featured the one and only Kelsea Ballerini who got the chance to listen to some incredible songs, give feedback and ultimately pick one song that she would record and put out under her name, giving credit to the songwriter. It was a match made in heaven when she heard Darius Coleman sing "Better Luck Next Time" the other songs were awesome as well but this is definitely Kelsea's vibe.
