Like most viral things on the internet, the FaceApp came out of nowhere and now literally everyone with a smartphone is seeing what they're going to look like in the year 2049 and beyond. I'm sure there's more out there but you get the idea. It's a fun idea for sure, however, word is that this is actually a Russian funded app and the security concerns are growing. If you've already used the app and are now worried about your privacy, it's a little late, you basically sign your life away before being able to upload a picture and begin editing. To honest though, with all the filters and puppy faces on Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook (remember that day where everyone got to see how they would look as the opposite gender?), facial recognition tech already has all of your info in some way shape or form. If anything, the Russians are just super late to the party (like they were to the moon. Bazinga), so have no fear about using the app, just know all your sh*t has been documented already.
