Anyone else feeling burnt out on these remakes? Putting a fresh coat of paint on an old house doesn't mean you can sell it as new. Disney is the biggest advocate of this lately, Dumbo, Lion King, Aladdin, Mulan (in the works), and now we have a HOME ALONE REMAKE IN THE WORKS?! Look, I can live with my childhood favorites getting the CGI makeover, it's cool to see and it's technology advancing which, in the scheme of cinematic history, will look cool in some book my grandkids will read BUT, why remake Home Alone?! It's been tried multiple times after the massive success of Home Alone 1&2 and they've fallen flat on their faces in those attempts...seems like if you're 0-2, confidence can't be that high that you'll knock the next one out of the park...I'm assuming Cheaper By The Dozen is a "Reimagining" of the movie,probably could be stretched into a sitcom for Disney's new streaming service Disney+ and I'm hoping Night At The Museum follows suit (although I don't know how), but these movies were just fine on their own...we need new content, new ideas, not regurgitated ideas that had success over a decade ago. Keep moving forward...it's coming off as lazy. - @Tracehamilton
