COVER OF THE WEEK: The Highwomen and Jimmy Fallon Take On Fleetwood Mac

I missed a week in this COTW series and I apologize but I think this week's cover more than makes up for it. In case you haven't heard yet, there's a newly country super-group that's powered by four INCREDIBLE female artists. Maren Morris, Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, and Amanda Shires. Let me just say this, they are GOOD. Maybe it's the artist in me that gets chills when I hear those harmonies but I just can't get enough. I'll link their debut single below as well. They have a full album coming out next month and honestly, I'm ready for them to tour like NOW. Probably won't happen till 2020 though seeing as Maren is direct support for Miranda Lambert this fall. Believe me, if they do announce a tour, you'll be the first to know and I'll be the first in line. What a group of badasses.

Oh! And yes that is in fact Grammy Award winner Jason Isbell playing guitar alongside Jimmy and The Highwomen. You may know him from one of the best songs ever written "Cover Me Up", or perhaps his days in the band Drive-By Truckers, or from the movie "A Star Is Born." That second song Bradley Cooper sings in the cabaret? "Maybe It's Time"? Mr. Isbell wrote that. And he is married to Amanda Shires, she's the one with the sunglasses who absolutely shreds on the fiddle. - @Traceahamilton
