This. Looks. Awesome. The Disney hype is at an all time high with Disney launching their new streaming platform Disney+. If you're a diehard fan of the mouse like I am, you're already putting the new streaming service into your budget so you're ready on November 12th. The whole Spider-Man leaving the MCU hurts but knowing I'll have every single Marvel (and Star Wars) movie in one place for me to watch helps ease that wound just a bit. Disney knew they had to go big and get people's mind off that fiasco and boy did they deliver with this trailer.
A trip down memory lane and about halfway through the trailer, you realize that this is the conclusion to a franchise storyline that started in freaking 1977! 40+ years in the making and we're in for (what I hope is) a wild ending. Sure the Star Wars name will live on and new characters will be introduced and we'll have infinite places to go from here but it's kind of a sad realization that this journey will be over on Christmas. It's been a wild ride. Very excited to see how they wrap this whole thing up. - T
