Well, here it is, 9am and I'm crying into my cup of coffee. What the hell, Chris? No warning? I'll be honest, at first listen 'Drowning' to me sounded like a break up song. It's a format that Chris Young absolutely excels in so I figured "Add another one to the heartbreak/love song list for CY." Then I watched the video and I realized just how naive I was on that first listen. There is a whole new world of emotion to this song and I feel like an idiot for not catching it earlier. Gotta go find out who's cutting onions in the office now. Well done, Chris. Powerful stuff.
