Sam Hunt is BACK! It's been five years since Sam released his debut album 'Montevallo'... FIVE. 'Body Like A Backroad' was released in 2017 and it's pretty much been radio silence on new music from Sam, minus a follow up single 'Downtown's Dead' in 2018, which I didn't think was a bad song! (Agree or disagree with me in the comments) but when attempting to follow up the colossal hit that 'Body' was, I'm pretty sure he could've put out any song and it still would've had the same trajectory. An unfortunate side-effect to having a song stay at the top of the charts for almost nine months out of the year.
I think it's safe to say that, after some soul searching and hitting the reset button as a songwriter, Sam Hunt has finally found the right follow up. We're expecting a new album in 2020 but 'KINFOLKS', from the teaser alone, Sam Hunt has been putting in WORK. So excited to hear the full song tomorrow. - @Traceahamilton
