Tim McGraw Heard A Story About Newcomer Blanco Brown, Then This Happened!

Wow. What a cool moment!

A little more on Blanco...I'll be the first to say, "The Git Up" is just not my bag. Agree or disagree, that's just how I feel. It's very commercial and tons of people love it and the streams are off the charts and it's in every TikTok video I see, etc, etc but...it's just not for me. HOWEVER, if that's the only thing you've heard from Blanco Brown, you need to go do some more research. Don't take a stance on him based on that song alone because you'll be missing out on an incredible talent. When you're an up and coming artist and you get a break, you RUN with the break. For Brown, it was a viral line dance song, so he ran with it and more power to him. Can't hate the hustle or how people are going to react to a song. But it is your duty as an appreciator of music to do a little more digging than just go off what you hear on the radio.

Brown is an artist who looks to be turning this industry on its head. He has such a unique blend of down home lyrics and hip hop beats that you can't help listen. And the dude can SING. As you can hear from the duet with McGraw above. His sound is certainly not for everybody and the old country heads are probably growing more and more angry the bigger Brown gets, but this is art. It's different. It's new. Will it last? Time will tell, but I'm very interested to see where Blanco Brown goes in 2020 and beyond. We'll see Blanco Brown in Chicago and get back to back tastes of his live show on Chris Lane's 'Big Big Plans' Tour at Joe's Live in January.

Also, he has a full album coming out at midnight tonight! "Honeysuckle & Lightning Bugs." Stream it, digest it, then, if you like it, buy it. Support the artists you listen to. -@Traceahamilton
