Tour pranks are my absolute FAVORITE part of watching bands on tour. I'm sure it was around before every artist had their own camera/digital person with a camera rolling at all times on tour with them, but now we get to share in the laughs that only the last stop of the tour usually gets to see. So far we've had Cassadee Pope prank Maren Morris earlier this year, we saw Riley Green shirtless in a giant Brad Paisley head walk out on stage, and the VHS crew roll out on stage in mini ride-on trucks ALL the way down the catwalk during Thomas Rhett's "That Old Truck" performance. We've had some good laughs in 2019 so far but Brantley had to throw his hat in the ring.
Let me tell you, stealing 100 EXTRA meet and greets for Michael Ray and giving them out at one show is one of the funniest pranks I've ever heard of. Typically meet and greets are anywhere from 10-50 people TOPS on average. They said he had over 200 of them to get through in one sitting...hilarious move by Brantley and one MR surely won't forget. MR got him back though by posing as one of many Lindsay Ell's for "What Happens In A Small Town" later in the show. Tour pranks. They'll never get old. - @Traceahamilton
